Barges
The company's flagship activity is the ownership and management of 5 self-propelled barges (total carrying capacity of 15000 MT) for lighter age & topping up operations in the Sand heads/Sagar/DH region and for coastal movement around East Coast India (including Bangladesh). The barges are all built in compliance with Indian Register of Shipping and are maintained under best possible levels of technical up-keep. Azzura Marines was the first company to bring self-propelled barges in to Kolkata Port identifying customer need owing to growing traffic and opportunity owing to falling draft in the riverine ports of Kolkata & Haldia.

Private jetty
Azzura Marines expanded into management and maintenance of a private Jetty at Falta, West Bengal in mid-2010. The jetty handles around 200000 MT of cargoes per annum including imported logs. The jetty is located ideally for handling containerized and bulk cargo origination from and sourced for the many units around the Falta Special Economic Zone. The company continues its efforts to expand the basket of cargoes handled via the jetty, which could logistically & commercially benefit users owing to the location. The team of around 90 professional & technically competent people under direct employment of the company ensure round the clock professional services.

Project Cargo Handling
Azzura Marines builds on its strength of marine assets by offering turnkey services for break bulk project cargos and ODCs. The complete management of project cargo from point to point including transport, storage, handling, barge movement is provided at lowest possible cost owing to fact that ownership of resources at every stage of the supply-chain is captive.

Equipment
The company owns Radio-remote controlled Hydraulic Grabs for operation on Handy vessels. In addition Azzura owns includes Five Trawler-Mounted Cranes of capacity 25MT-40MTand continues to increase captive ownership of equipment which will facilitate faster turnaround at lowest cost for all its users.
